Covid 19 Guide & Practices

As we welcome back guests, we remain committed to premium standards and to providing you with a safe environment to enjoy your holidays, fully in line with the health protocols for COVID-19 issued by the authorities. In this truly unfortunate situation we all stay united, we remain calm and optimistic and we act with responsibility.

All members of staff have undergone thorough health and safety training measures, including on the procedures for wearing the personal protective equipment, social distancing awareness and case handling and notification protocols.

When guests check into IRIS over the next months, they will notice a number of additions to our regimen and operating procedures, designed to facilitate public health and to help our potentially affected clients:

Certified Protection against Covid-19

Public Spaces

We are cleaning surfaces with increased frequency, and recommended disinfectant agents. Signage will remind our guests to maintain social distancing and we have re-arranged furniture to allow more space for distancing. You’ll see hand sanitizing stations near the entrance and front desk.

Guest Rooms

Guest rooms are thoroughly sanitised after each check-out with extra disinfection of high-touch room and bathroom areas. In order to reduce human interaction daily housekeeping is now unfortunately forbidden by the authorities; room cleaning and change of linen / towels will be offered only upon request during your stay.

Check-in/out

We operate an extended check-out and check-in timetable (check out until 11.00 am and check in from 3.00 pm) in order to allow for the rooms to be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected and adequately ventilated. We also strongly advise online check-in prior to arrival.

Personal Information

For purposes of public health protection, in line with the authorities request, we keep a record of the staff members and all persons residing at IRIS to make it possible to communicate with close contacts of a potential COVID-19 case. We do this in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Greece is well known for its commitment and unique approach to hospitality throughout the centuries. We remain optimistic that another wonderful season is yet to come. We look forward to welcoming you again!
